DAY 2: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27 | Unmasking the Carnality of Church Cliques

SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Corinthians 3:3 & 1 Corinthians 1:11–12

DEVOTION: In Corinth, believers split into carnal factions, shouting slogans like 'I am of Paul' or 'I am of Apollos.' Paul confronts this carnality being ruled by unredeemed flesh. Cliques do not come from the Holy Spirit; they are born when believers let ego, social comfort, and control dictate how they behave in God's house. When we form exclusive circles that shut out newcomers or protect our comfort zones, we tear the seamless body of Christ.

PRAYER PROMPT: Holy Spirit, search my heart and root out any carnality, pride, or exclusive attitudes. Help me build bridges rather than walls in Your church. Amen.

ACTION STEP: Intentionally step out of your usual social circle at church this week to warmly welcome and converse with someone new or outside your group.
