DAY 4: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29 | Removing Superiority & Inferiority for Covenant Care

SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Corinthians 12:21–26 & John 13:35

DEVOTION: To live as a true church, we must eliminate two toxic attitudes: 'I don't need you' (arrogance) and 'I don't belong' (discouragement). The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I have no need of you.' Parts that seem weaker are necessary. God engineered the body so that if one member suffers, all suffer together; if one is honored, all rejoice. Our genuine love for one another is the ultimate witness to a broken world.

PRAYER PROMPT: Lord, remove all spiritual arrogance and self-doubt from my heart. Give me a deep love that feels the burdens of my brothers and sisters and rejoice in their victories. Amen.

ACTION STEP: Reach out to a church family member who is currently facing illness, grief, or a heavy burden, and offer tangible support and prayer.
