DAY 1: MONDAY, OCTOBER 26 | Country Club vs. Emergency Room Trauma Unit

SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Corinthians 1:10 & 1 Corinthians 12:14–16

DEVOTION: Most churches quietly rewrite their identity to look like a country club. A club where members pay dues, expect perks, and demand that the church cater to their personal preferences. But Jesus established His church to be an Emergency Room Trauma Unit focused outward on bringing life-saving care to those coming through the doors. When we view church as a club, we become spiritual consumers; when we embrace Christ's blueprint, we become a living, supernatural body working together under His lordship.

PRAYER PROMPT: Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times I have treated Your church like a country club and demanded my own comfort. Shift my heart to see our church as an outward-focused trauma unit on mission for You. Amen.

ACTION STEP: Identify one area where you have expected the church to cater to your preferences and turn it into an opportunity to serve someone else this week.
