The Power of God vs. The Wisdom of Men

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:4–5 & Romans 1:16

How we reach people shapes where their faith is anchored. If we win someone to church using slick entertainment, we have to keep out-performing the culture just to keep them. If we win someone by outarguing them in a debate, their faith will crumble the moment they meet an atheist who is smarter. Salvation is not an intellectual upgrade or a moral self-improvement project; it is a supernatural resurrection brought about by the Holy Spirit! Our job is not to impress people with human cleverness, but to trust the simple message of the Cross, which carries the ultimate power of God to save.

Prayer Prompt: Lord, forgive me for relying on my own cleverness. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that my faith, and the faith of those I speak to rest entirely in Your divine power.

 

Action Step: Think of one person in your life who needs Christ. Instead of worrying about having every answer, pray for the Holy Spirit to move in their heart and share the simple message of Jesus with them.
