DAY 3: WEDNESDAY, SEPT 9:
A PLACE AND ROLE FOR EVERYONE

Scripture: Nehemiah 3:8, 12

Nehemiah 3 lists thirty-eight individual workers and forty-two groups working side-by-side, including goldsmiths, perfumers, merchants, and leaders with their daughters. God did not hire a professional construction company; He utilized willing amateurs. Notably, many made repairs "in front of their own house." You do not have to travel across the globe to serve the Lord; He calls you to look right outside your front door. Your home, neighborhood, school, and workplace are your primary assignments. God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the willing.

PRAYER: Father, thank You that You have a unique place and role reserved for me in Your vineyard. Remove my excuses of inadequacy and use my gifts for Your purpose.

ACTION: Look "in front of your own house" today. Find one specific, tangible way to show Christ's love to an immediate family member, neighbor, or coworker.
