DAY 4 | THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2026: METAMORPHOSIS OF THE MIND

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:2b (NKJV): “...but be transformed by the renewing of your mind...”

The word “transformed” comes from the Greek metamorphoo, the root of our word “metamorphosis.” God does not want an external coat of paint or religious behavior modification. He desires a radical, internal transformation. Many believers get stuck because they try to change outward habits without renewing their thought life. The battle for spiritual victory is won or lost in the mind, and you live out what you truly believe. Place your mind in the hands of the Creator and let His Word reshape your desires.

Prayer Prompt: Holy Spirit, begin a supernatural metamorphosis in my mind today. Wash away ungodly thought patterns and replace them with the mind of Christ. Amen.

Action Step: Memorize Romans 12:2 this week. Repeat it out loud three times today whenever you feel anxious, distracted, or tempted.
