DAY 3 | Wednesday, September 23, 2026  —   Pillar #2: Intertwined Lives and True Fellowship

 

Scripture Reading: Acts 2:42b, 44–45 — "...and fellowship... Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need."

As Baptists, we love potluck meals, but biblical fellowship (koinonia) is far deeper than coffee and donuts in the lobby. God’s blueprint for fellowship is an intentional interweaving of lives. It means bearing one another’s burdens, holding each other accountable, praying through painful trials, and rejoicing in shared victories. It is more than mere membership on a roll. When we isolate ourselves or keep church relationships at a surface-level, we leave a key pillar out of our lives. We cannot walk in power while walking alone.

Prayer Prompt: Lord Jesus, break down the walls of isolation in my life. Give me a genuine love for my brothers and sisters at Mt. Pleasant. Help me to open my life, share my burdens, and serve others sacrificially.


Action Step: Reach out to a fellow church member today—call, text, or visit—to encourage them, ask how you can pray for them, and share a specific burden.
