DAY 5 | Friday, September 25, 2026   —   Pillar #4: Desperate, United Corporate Prayer

 

Scripture Reading: Acts 2:42d, 47 — "...and in prayers... praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."

The final pillar of the Acts 2 blueprint is United Corporate Prayer. The early church did not relegate prayer to a rushed opening motion. They prayed together persistently, demonstrating absolute dependence on God. When a church prays together in one accord, human striving steps aside and Holy Spirit power takes over. The result of God’s blueprint was clear: reverence among the people, favor in the community, and daily conversions. When we return to God's blueprint—Word, Fellowship, Worship, and Prayer—God builds a church that hell cannot withstand.

Prayer Prompt: Father in Heaven, teach us how to pray in unity and dependence upon You. Sweep through Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with a spirit of prayer. Draw the lost to salvation and glorify Your name in our community.


Action Step: Commit to participating in Mt. Pleasant's corporate prayer times this week. Write down a list of unsaved neighbors or family members and pray specifically for their salvation today.
