Day 2: Tuesday, August 11  —  A Scope Like No Other (The Plot Twist)

“John 3:16b — “...the world...” | Romans 10:13 — “For 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'””

Devotional Reflection:
Most great stories save their twist for the very end, but the Gospel places its biggest twist right at the start: God loved 'the world.' Jesus did not come exclusively for those who were religious, morally polished, or already loving Him. He came for a world in rebellion and darkness. No matter what guilt, shame, or past failures you carry today, you are never excluded from God's 'whosoever.' Jesus came to seek and save the broken.

Prayer Prompt: Lord Jesus, thank You for including me in Your scope of love. Forgive me for times when I judge others or feel too broken for Your grace. Help me see people through Your eyes of compassion.

Action Prompt: Reach out or pray specifically for someone in your community or family who feels distant from God, reminding them that Jesus came for 'whosoever.'
