Day 1: Monday, August 10  —  A Love Like No Other (The Source)

Devotional Reflection:
In many human stories, action is driven by revenge, ambition, or self-interest. But the biblical narrative begins with a completely different source: God’s unconditional love. The Gospel is not the story of humanity trying to reach up to God; it is the story of God reaching down to us first. Like a lighthouse built on a cliff shining into a dark storm, God did not wait for us to fix ourselves before loving us. His love is the eternal initiative that rescues us from spiritual darkness.

Prayer Prompt: Father, thank You for loving me first, long before I ever thought to seek You. Help me to rest in Your unconditional love today and live in the confidence that nothing can separate me from Your grace.

Action Prompt: Take 5 minutes today in quiet reflection to thank God for initiating His love in your life. Write down one area where you need to stop striving for God's approval and simply receive His grace.
