Day 4: Thursday, August 20  —  A Cornerstone Like No Other (The Power of Salvation)

“1 Corinthians 15:14, 17 — “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty... your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!””

Devotional Reflection:
Paul leaves no room for compromise: the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ is the absolute cornerstone of the Christian faith. Without the resurrection, preaching is empty, faith is futile, and we remain dead in our sins. But because Christ IS risen, our faith is anchored in absolute truth! The resurrection guarantees our salvation, transforms our present, and secures our eternal future in God’s presence.

Prayer Prompt: Lord God, thank You for anchoring my faith in the rock-solid reality of Christ's resurrection. Let this truth give me unshakable confidence in every trial I face.

Action Prompt: Identify an area of your life where you feel weak or hopeless, and pray for the resurrecting power of the Holy Spirit to bring renewal to that situation.
