Day 2: Tuesday, August 25 — Come As You Are

Devotional Reflection:
Unlike exhausting religious traditions that demand you earn your way into acceptance; Jesus’ invitation requires no pedigree or moral resume. He did not say, 'Clean up your act, pray more, and then come.' He simply cried out: 'If anyone thirsts, let him come.' Jesus is not looking for self-manufactured qualifications; He is looking for honest thirst and a willingness to receive His free grace.

Prayer Prompt: Father, thank You that Your invitation is open to 'whosoever.' Help me rest securely in the unmerited grace given freely through Christ.

Action Prompt: Write 'Come As You Are' on a note to remind yourself today that God's grace is a gift received, not earned.
