Day 1: Monday, August 24 — Leaving Spiritual Mirages

Devotional Reflection:
At the Feast of Tabernacles, after seven days of water ceremonies, the golden pitchers were put away, leaving worshippers parched. Like a lost traveler chasing desert mirages only to get a mouth full of dry sand, we often try to quench our souls with career goals, relationships, or moral striving. Religion offers an empty cup to hold, but only Jesus gives the living water that truly satisfies.

Prayer Prompt: Lord Jesus, forgive me for chasing empty mirages. I bring my thirst to You today, trusting You alone to fill my heart.

Action Prompt: Identify one earthly pursuit you've relied on for validation. Surrender it to Christ today and spend 5 minutes reading His Word.
