Day 5: Friday, August 28 — The Indwelling Helper

Devotional Reflection:
When Jesus promised the Holy Spirit (allos Paraklētos), He promised an advocate of the exact same divine essence and power as Himself. In His earthly body, Jesus was localized; through the indwelling Spirit, He is inside you wherever you go! In our darkest valleys, difficult decisions, and when we are too weak to find words to pray, our Helper intercedes, guides, and comforts us.

Prayer Prompt: Precious Holy Spirit, thank You for dwelling within me as my Comforter and Guide. Strengthen my faith and keep my heart centered on Jesus.

Action Prompt: Spend 5 minutes in quiet reflection, thanking the Holy Spirit for His constant presence and asking Him to guide your weekend.
